It's that time of year, that the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra (TSO) is preparing for the 2022-2023 season! This year they have welcomed their new Executive Director Ms. Natassia Perrine. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Ms. P has been directing musical programs for eleven years. She brings a wealth of knowledge with her that she is already sharing with local schools and at the library.
Some of the educational opportunities offered this season are:
Attend a final dress rehearsal of the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra, explore the Moody Concert Hall and participate in a talk with TSO Maestro, Adam Flatt.

"Annual Young Person’s Concert
Join the TSO for our free Annual Young Person's Concert featuring the Alabama premiere of Give Me Space composed by TSO Principal Tubist, Kenyon Wilson. Immerse your students in the sonic sounds of outer space and learn more about the inner workings of the orchestra during this interactive symphonic experience. "Musical Read Alouds with Ms. P!
Learn all about the orchestra in this engaging, 45 minute elementary music and literacy lesson taught by Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra Executive Director and Music Educator, Natassia Perrine. Students will explore the families of the orchestra, learn a song about the instruments and perform it along to a read aloud of a children's book.
