T.H.E. Hosts James Spann at Valley View Church

A Great Start to the Homeschool Year!

By Stephanie Horton, MK Tuscaloosa Publisher August 11, 2022

As many of Tuscaloosa's students returned to school on Wednesday August 10, a group of 350+ homeschool students {including parents} gathered at Valley View Church to learn more about meteorology from our weather man James Spann of ABC 33/40.  Students learned basics of cloud patterns, inclement weather safety tips, and had lots of fun throughout the presentation.

A huge "THANK YOU" to Valley View Church,Tuscaloosa Home Educators {T.H.E.}, and Mrs. Jennifer Dees for arranging this event.  It was a wonderful way to mark the beginning of the 2022-2023 homeschool year.

If you are a homeschool family in the Tuscaloosa area looking for resources, check out T.H.E.'s website for more information.
