It's a good week to be from the Tuscaloosa/ Northport, Alabama area! If you are just passing through or visiting, welcome! There is so much to see and do. If you are not familiar with Macaroni Kid Tuscaloosa, we are a hyper-local event calendar, local resource guide, and THE place to "find your family fun." As a mom, I hear "What are we doing today?" more than one time everyday. So, when that question comes up next time, I hope you will remember that Mac Kid Tuscaloosa is here for you to answer that question. Our local event calendar is about to start overflowing with Christmas/ Holiday goodness! I'm giving you a "SNEEK PEAK" to the Christmas and Holiday Event Guide to start planning your festivities.
I have had the privilege to talk with some amazing members of our beautiful community this week about upcoming programs, events, and nonprofit organizations. It is such a joy to see glimpses of how people are making a difference in so many enriching ways. The good news is that you can be apart of what is happening by showing up to events they are hosting, donating of your time, and giving to the work being done to make a difference in our community. This week, you can partner with Purchase with a Purpose by attending the PWAP Party November 11 or 12 from 6-9PM at Northport Baptist Church. While Christmas shopping, you can also support missions, adoptions, and giving back to our community. I love being able to be a small part of something bigger than self. Please, contact Macaroni Kid Tuscaloosa with other opportunities to give back this Christmas Holiday season so that we can highlight all the good happening around T-town and Northport.

Hi, I'm Stephanie. I grew up in North Carolina, and would visit family in Alabama at least twice a year during that time. So even though I'm not technically from here, UA is my team. Roll Tide! Some of my favorite memories from those visits were day trips to Tuscaloosa that included shopping and time at CHOM. I am a homeschool mama and pastor's wife. I love spending time with my family exploring our beautiful community. If I'm not teaching or taking my children to drama, ballet, or soccer, I love going on long walks by the river and trying out all the local coffee shops.
