In honor of their legacy of generosity, 28th Avenue will be renamed Nick's Kids Avenue on August 5th. Festivities begin at 9:00am on Thursday, August 5th. There will be a parade starting on the corner of 7th and 28th Avenue and ending at the Tuscaloosa News building. Around 9:30am there will be a short renaming ceremony. Afterwards, balloons, snacks, and beverages will be provided as long as supplies last.
