I am Stephanie Horton-- your new publisher for Mac Kid Tuscaloosa. I am also a homeschool mom to three amazing kiddos, VIPKid teacher, and wife to my college sweetheart. In the twelve years my husband and I have been married, we have lived in South Carolina, Texas, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and now Alabama. Each time we were getting to know our new town, Macaroni Kid proved to be a treasure trove of local events, family friendly business guide, and source of great parenting tips and tricks. That is exactly what I want this site to offer you, a place to go when you hear, "What are we going to do today?" After "playing tourist" in T-town for a little over two years, I am excited to share my favorite places, events, and local businesses with you. Of the towns we have lived in, I can say that Tuscaloosa is one of my favorites. There is always something for the children to do. If there is not an event on the calendar, the Tuscaloosa Public Library or CHOM are always good ideas.
